Aquafit & Aquastretch

Water exercise is great whatever your swimming ability or fitness level. The water supports and soothes; improving circulation, posture, joint mobility, muscular strength, even improving your mood and mental health.

 AQUASTRETCH

Aquastretch is a gentle session aimed at those who are recuperating, dealing with long term conditions like arthritis or who just want to relax sore muscles and joints in the warm water. 

Sessions on Wednesdays or Fridays, both at 2:30pm. Phone us or email us to book a session.

AQUAFIT

Alternatively, Aquafit is a fast paced class designed to really get you moving! Our trained Instructors will help you to build your strength and suppleness, burn fat and improve your cardiovascular health. You’ll get a great workout in a safe and enjoyable way. Who knew exercise could be SUCH FUN?

Kayaking

 Kayak Rolling classes are run by one of our swimming instructors, Ciarán Seawright. Ciarán has been a keen kayaker for years, after getting his qualifications in the sport in his early twenties. He feels that teaching kayak rolling and personal safety will be of massive benefit to a community where the sport is rapidly gaining popularity.


 

Swimming skills are good ground work for all the other water-based recreational activities and sports like kayaking, scuba diving, surfing and more.
